Commisions Process
If you are considering commissioning me too produce a bespoke piece of artwork for you, I hope that this page will give you a brief overview of the process from start to finish. If, once you have read it, you have any questions please feel free to contact me.

The First Step

To start the process, you need to take or find some high quality and clear photographs of our subject. If possible, send a range of photographs so that we can choose the most appropriate one to capture. If the subject is a person or pet, try to choose photographs that you feel best represent the personality and character to you.

Please note that the better the photos, the better the finished artwork will be. So, you must ensure that digital photographs show details really clearly so that I can work accurately from them. Send your photographs to me via email, I will let you know if the images are suitable.

Decisions, decisions, decisions...

The options available to you are many and varied but don't worry, between us we will find the right combination for you. We will discuss the medium and artwork size, best choice reference photograph, timeframe and price options including exclusivity price options if required (see terms and conditions)

If you would like to see some of the options that previous clients have agreed upon, please take a look at the samples below.

Moving On

Once the decisions have been made, I will send you a unique, password protected link that will give you access to your personal Commission Progress page. This will enable you to have access to your account in which you will be able to make the deposit payment. You will then receive updates regarding the work that is being undertaken on your behalf. This may include written and/or photographic updates. If you do not wish to see the image until it is finished, only written updates will be added.

Nearly There

Once I have completed the commission, you will be invited to view it in person. This will allow you to ask for adjustments before taking possession of the finished piece.

If this is not possible, the artwork will be sent to you via Royal Mail Special Delivery Next Day Service. You then have 7 days to contact me about any changes required.

Hopefully this has given you all the information you need, but if not please don't hesitate to contact me.
